    PLEASE NOTE that once your application is received your name will be placed on a list of voters who are eligible to work the polls. Being placed on this list does not guarantee that you will be appointed to work in any election. Approximately 15-20 days prior to the election this list is given to the Appointing Board for their review. They will use this list in selecting poll workers for each polling place. If you are appointed to serve as a poll worker in the election you will be notified by mail. If you are not appointed for a current election your name remains on the list of potential poll workers for future elections.
